Freight booking, carrier services, customs entry, duties, import security filings and final delivery must be handled by the buyer or qualified providers appointed for the shipment. Current platform instructions must be checked by the seller.

The supplier, buyer, freight forwarder and customs broker each have defined responsibilities in an international shipment.

The correct route and documents depend on product, Incoterms, exporter, importer of record, carrier and current US customs or fulfilment rules. Confirm requirements with the parties responsible for the shipment.

• SKU, quantity, cartons, dimensions, weights, packaging and country-of-origin information.

Does Vanguard Sourcing act as the freight forwarder?

No. We coordinate supplier-side shipment readiness and hand-off information. The buyer appoints a freight forwarder and customs broker.

Can you arrange DDP to an Amazon fulfilment centre?

We do not offer freight or customs brokerage directly. The buyer should appoint qualified providers who can quote and undertake the requested service.

Can freight costs be guaranteed before packing?

A forwarder needs accurate cargo details, route, timing and service level to quote. Final costs may change with actual dimensions, weight, surcharges and customs requirements.
